Tamara Rojo criticises state of culture in Spain

The principal ballerina with the Royal Ballet is unlikely to return to her homeland to launch a national classical dance company as planned any time soon. "Here they do not create the necessary structures to favour creativity, rather the different governments intervene without having a clue," she told a Spanish daily newspaper.  - died recently aged 95. "... was the last representative of the golden age of flamenco ballet in the 1930s and 1940s.
