Part research tool, part training ground, part advisory service, part broker and part lobbyist.

The Live Art Development Agency is a small independent organisation offering a portfolio of services and schemes and a range of resources for the development and support of artists and organisations working with Live Art in London. The Agency provides information and advice; opportunities for dialogue, debate, research and training; works in partnership with practitioners, venues and institutions on new initiatives; implements strategies for increasing popular and critical awareness and acts as an advocate for the Live Art sector. They house an extensive video and publications archive and up to date information on funding and new opportunities, British and international artists and organisations, and general resources for artists. All of their resources are available for specific and general research purposes. They are not a dance-focused organisation but are interested in work which extend the boundaries of traditional practices.


The Live Art Development Agency is a fixed term client of the Combined Arts Unit of London Arts, a Company Limited by Guarantee and a Registered Charity.
